THE MILLIS LEGACY

Your Trusted Partner in Freight Transportation

When it comes to moving goods from one place to another, you need a partner you can trust. That’s where Millis Transfer comes in. We are here to ensure your freight transportation is smooth and reliable. Our modern trucking fleet is top-notch, and our expertise in specialized regional services comes from a legacy dating back to 1936.

Founded in 1936 as a small brokerage operation, Millis Trucking has evolved over the decades through careful expansion and strategic partnerships, such as a long-standing contract with the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company in the 1960s and 1970s. After changing their name to Millis Transfer in 1978, the company grew significantly in the 1980s with the acquisition of smaller companies. Starting with just 20 tractors and 40 trailers in 1982, Millis now operates a fleet of over 600 trucks and more than 2,000 trailers, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and driver well-being.
